Description of 1990 Caldecott Medal-winner, Lon Po Po
Lon Po Po, the 1990 Caldecott Medal Winner, retells the story of Little Red-Riding Hood as it is told in China. In this fairytale the wolf, pretending to be the grandmother (Po Po), visits three sisters. Although the wolf appears fearsome, he is outwitted by the children in the end. The illustrations are gorgeous.
Condition of the book
This is a used book, very gently read. The back bottom corner is slightly bent. There is some light scuffing to the edges. However, there are no markings on the inside pages, no former owner's name. The pages are tight and seem to be unread.
