Synopsis

Esphyr Slobodkina has recreated an old folk tale about a peddlar selling caps and a band of monkeys who have their own ideas for those hats, monkey business. Ms. Slobodkina's bright colorful illustrations of the gray, brown, blue, and red caps all balancing on the peddlars head and then on the heads of the mischievious monkeys adds to the fun of this book. This classic picture book has been in print for over 50 years.

Kitten's First Full Moon

Kevin Henkes in his 2005 Caldecott medal winner,
Kitten's First Full Moon has created expressions on kitten's face that you will love. As kitten chases the elusive dish of milk, it seems almost human. Certainly the expressions are human-like.
